Metal Gear Solid Delta’s Fox Hunt Mode Arrives This Fall!

Okay, so hear me out… Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater is on the horizon, and it looks seriously good. But the real kicker for fans like us? The new Fox Hunt mode is dropping this Fall!

For those who might not be up to speed, Metal Gear Solid Delta is the remake of the iconic Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Konami’s been pretty tight-lipped about a lot of details, but they’ve confirmed that Fox Hunt mode is coming, and it’s targeting a Fall 2025 release.

Now, what exactly is Fox Hunt mode? Well, it’s a nod to the original Snake Eater’s hunt mechanics. Think of it as a way to test your skills against the environment and its inhabitants. It’s not going to be a massive multiplayer battle royale or anything like that, but rather a more focused, single-player experience designed to challenge your stealth and survival abilities within the game’s jungle setting.

At launch, it’s important to note that Fox Hunt mode is confirmed to be a single-player offering. So, if you were hoping for some intense online showdowns with Snake vs. Snake right out of the gate, you might need to temper those expectations. The focus for this initial release seems to be on honing that classic Metal Gear Solid experience.

Beyond the gameplay, the buzz is also extending to some cool merchandise. There’s been talk about collectible figures and other goodies related to the Delta project. It’s always awesome when a remake comes with some tangible pieces of art that fans can own. I’m definitely keeping an eye out for those.

So, mark your calendars, folks. This Fall, we get to dive back into the jungle with Snake Eater, and this time, with the added challenge of Fox Hunt mode. It’s exciting to see these classic games get the modern treatment, and I’m personally stoked to see how this new mode shapes up. I’ll be sure to get my hands on it as soon as it drops and share my thoughts!
